  A club does need standards of membership. The problem is the inconsistency of standards and applications.

  you might think all this would shake things up, especially for the older or super dedicated jws.

  but remember when gb decided all the khs and the bank accounts needed to be transferred/managed from the top?

  i am sure we were all shocked at the governing body update #2 with the unusual and impulsive changes set forth.. i am an insider at whq, and when i was on reddit and in communication with avoidjw i explained to the best of my ability that the approach on disfellowshipping was going to change based on the new light at the 2023 agm, that the jubilee rumor was false, and there were going to be changes on how jws approached disfellowshipping in response to the norway situation if it didn't turn out in watchtower's favor.

  the decision came because of a legal blow to watchtower, not because "holy spirit" wad directing a faithful slave, who is going to become the "evil slave", more explanation on this soon.. everything i stated came true.

  i left reddit exjw community due to the immature and mentally unstable nature there, and yet as has been the case my words came true.

  Follow the money. Assemblies make less so just one day now. Renting a school for memorial with few contributions made.

  COs can't assess brothers in a week so---?? Adding a Deborah/Anna classification would make sense--just don't let them be on a committee for a man.

  Sex acts are probably widespread (pun?) anyway. Where does foreplay end and forbidden things start.

  The blood thing is muddled now--no science applied.

  I would shave except the 2 to 3 months it takes to fill it in and shape it. My suit shrunk.

  i think i could enjoy a half hour of thus better than a droning talk followed by read paragraph, ask, reread twice as "answer"..

  so what is appropriate now we don’t have to wear a suit and tie?.

  i imagine just a smart shirt and smart casual trousers.

  I saw some mormon elders without the tie.

  As for casual wear, some of the jackets, trousers, women's suits in the store are wrinkled making the legendary polyester suit look good

  Actually I seldom notice clothing except for either bazaar things or nice (women) legs. I note the message in tv news and the story line in entertainment--as opposed to the lack thereof at the hall and cannot say what the clothing was.

  i know they're panicking and trying to gain favor with governments, former members, prospective converts & those who are teetering, all for financial worries.

  still, the latest update in some ways made things worse, and if there's any jws watching it who are beginning to wake up it should be very disturbing.. starting with dress codes: they say that suits, ties & skirts are no longer required, but in so doing they admit that they were required, something not often appearing as an explicit command in print.

  (similar to how lett referred to the "policy on beards" in his video, even though this direct policy wasn't made available to rank and file.

  Howzabout a spare tie and jacket and a velcro looong wrap skirt in the back room. Just in case.

  Locally the last 3 elders with any sense died so theclowns run the show now.
